THE TEENS PROGRAMMING LAB

The Teens Programming Lab (TPL) is a skills development program set up in 2016 by the educational outreach / trainings department of Teltec Services Limited which aims at identifying young, bright children, teenagers and students, equipping them with basic programming skills, exciting their passion for computer science and subsequently preparing them for real labour market.

MISSION

TPL’s mission is to build a sustainable ecosystem of knowledgeable software engineers and programming professionals, who can both lead and positively influence their immediate community and countries at large.

TARGET

The program cuts across young people from all walks of life with special emphasis on those living in rural areas consisting of the lower and middle class, specifically those who don’t have access to computer systems or education.

OUR APPROACH

In order to achieve its mission, the TPL will support these individuals in the following specific ways

Trainings & Workshops

TPL will up-skill the participants by engaging them in relevant basic, live training and online materials

Certifications

TPL will provide relevant certifications at affordable rates based on demand or otherwise where necessary.

Mentoring

TPL will provide its participants adequate mentoring and support as they begin their journey into the ICT world.
